Understand Dog Daycare Price: What to Expect to Pay in 2023

Okay, so I’ve been thinking about getting my dog into daycare. You know, a place where he can run around, play with other dogs, and just have a good time while I’m at work. But the big question is, how much does this thing cost? So, I did what any responsible dog owner would do – I started digging.

First, I asked around. I talked to friends, family, even the guy at the pet store who always has a good story about his beagle. Everyone gave me different numbers, from super cheap to “Are you kidding me?” expensive. It was a mess, honestly.

Then, I went online. I checked out a bunch of websites for dog daycares in my area. And you know what? The prices were all over the place. Some places were charging, like, $20 a day, while others were asking for $50 or more. It was tough to figure out what was a good deal and what was just too much.

But, you know, it’s not just about the money. I also looked at things like where the daycare is, what kind of toys and equipment they have, and how many dogs they take in at once. I mean, I want my dog to be safe and happy, right? So, those things matter, too.
