Top Stella and Chewys Dog Food Reviews: See What Customers Are Saying Now

Okay, so I've been meaning to switch up my dog's food for a while now. He's been getting a bit, shall we say, fluffy around the edges, and his poops have been... well, let's just say they haven't been pretty. I've heard a lot of good things about Stella & Chewy's, so I decided to give it a shot and see what all the fuss was about.

First thing I did was hit up the internet, obviously. I needed to figure out which specific formula to try. They have, like, a million different options! Freeze-dried, raw coated kibble, frozen patties...it's a lot. I spent a good hour just reading product descriptions and trying to decipher which one would be best for my picky eater.

My Research Process

  • Started with the Stella & Chewy's website to see the full product range.
  • Checked out some online pet stores to compare prices.
  • Read a bunch of customer reviews (the good, the bad, and the smelly).
  • Watched some YouTube videos of people actually feeding it to their dogs.

After all that digging, I settled on the "Stella & Chewy's Chewy's Chicken Dinner Patties" – the freeze-dried raw kind. My dog seems to like chicken, and the freeze-dried thing seemed like a good way to dip our toes into the raw food world without, you know, handling actual raw meat.

Next, I went and bought a bag. It wasn't cheap, I'll tell you that. But I figured if it helped my dog's digestion and gave him more energy, it would be worth it.

The first time I served it, I followed the instructions on the bag and rehydrated the patties with a little warm water. My dog was very interested in the process, sniffing around my feet like a little shark. Once I put the bowl down, he went to town! He absolutely devoured it.

I've been feeding him Stella & Chewy's for about two weeks now, and I've definitely noticed some changes.

  • His poops are MUCH better. Smaller, firmer, and less frequent. This is a HUGE win in my book.
  • He seems to have more energy. He's been more playful and eager to go for walks.
  • His coat looks a little shinier.

Overall, I'm pretty impressed with Stella & Chewy's so far. It's definitely a pricier option, but the improvements I've seen in my dog's digestion and overall health make it seem worth the investment, I must keep recording for longer time to prove it. I'll probably try some of their other formulas in the future, just to see what he likes best.
