Sunday Dog Food: Price Check & Budgeting Tips 2024

Okay, so I've been seeing ads for Sunday dog food everywhere lately. My pup, Max, is a picky eater, and honestly, I'm always looking for ways to make mealtime easier and healthier. So, I figured, why not give it a shot and see what the hype is all about? Plus, the whole "air-dried" thing sounded interesting.

First Steps: The Website

I headed over to their website, and the first thing I noticed was the quiz. You know, the kind where they ask you about your dog's breed, age, weight, activity level – all that jazz. I filled it out for Max, he's a 3-year-old Lab mix, about 60 pounds, and pretty active. We do lots of walks and playtime.

The Price Reveal

After the quiz, it gave me a recommended food plan and, of course, the price. I have to admit, I was a little surprised. It's definitely pricier than the kibble I usually * roughly 8 dollars per pound.

Breaking it Down

I started digging around to understand why it costs more. From what I could gather, it seems like the ingredients are a big part of it. They talk a lot about "human-grade" ingredients and the air-drying process, which I guess preserves more nutrients than traditional kibble making.

It looks like it breaks down like this:

  • High-Quality Ingredients: They use stuff that people could eat.
  • Air-Drying Process: which keep the food good longer time.
  • Customized Portions: Maybe I am saving some money.

The Verdict (So Far)

Honestly, I'm still on the fence. The price is a big factor, but I'm willing to consider it if Max really loves it and I see a difference in his energy levels and overall health.

So I ordered it for my dog and now waiting the food.

I think I need give it try for my dog to see the result.
