Star Wars Dog Names Male: From Skywalker to Chewbacca!
Okay, so I've been meaning to get a new puppy for a while now, and I'm a HUGE Star Wars fan. Naturally, I wanted to give my new best friend a Star Wars-inspired name. But I didn't want anything too obvious, you know? Something cool, but not something everyone else would immediately pick. So, I started brainstorming.

First, I made a list of all the male characters I could think of. You got your Lukes, your Hans, your Vaders... all the big names. But like I said, I wanted to dig a little deeper.
Digging Deeper into the Galaxy
I went online and started looking at some fan sites and forums. I figured other Star Wars nerds would have some good ideas, and boy, was I right!
- I found some really cool suggestions, like "Jaxxon" (apparently, he's a giant green rabbit from some of the older comics - who knew?).
- Someone else suggested "Wedge," after Wedge Antilles, the awesome X-wing pilot. That one had a nice ring to it.
- There were also names like "Rex" and "Cody" from the Clone Wars series, which I really liked because they're strong but not over-the-top.
Then I started thinking about the sounds of the names. I wanted something that would be easy to yell across the dog park, you know? "Jaxxon" might be a bit of a mouthful. "Rex," on the other hand, is short and punchy. Perfect!
Making the Final Decision
I narrowed it down to a few favorites: "Rex," "Wedge," and "Finn" (from the newer movies). I wrote them down on a piece of paper and said them out loud a few times, imagining myself calling my dog.
Ultimately, I decided to go with "Rex." It's got that Star Wars connection, but it's also just a solid, classic dog name. Plus, Captain Rex is a total badass, and I'm hoping my pup will be, too!
So, there you have it! That's how I picked the perfect Star Wars name for my new male dog. It was a fun little project, and now I've got a name I'm super excited about. Now all I have to wait is to be able to actually get a new dog!
