Need Fun Dog Toys? We Tested The Most Popular!
Okay, here's my blog post about fun dog toys, written from my personal experience:

So, my dog, Buster, he's a real chewer. Like, seriously, anything left within reach is fair game. I've lost shoes, remotes, even a corner of the coffee table (don't ask). I knew I needed to find some seriously tough toys to keep him occupied and, you know, save my furniture.
I started with the usual pet store stuff. You know, the plush toys with the squeakers? Yeah, those lasted about five minutes. Buster ripped them to shreds, pulled out all the stuffing, and looked at me like, "What's next?" It was a mess, and honestly, a bit of a waste of money.
Next, I tried those rope toys. These were a bit better. He could really get his teeth into them, and they held up for a while. But eventually, he'd unravel them, and I'd be finding little bits of rope all over the house. Plus, I worried about him swallowing the threads.
My DIY attempt
I even got crafty, I tried some DIY options. I took an old pair of Jeans that I'm done with, and tried to make something tough out of it.
First, I cut them, and washed the pieces thoroughly. Then, I took the long pieces braided them, and finally tightened everything by hand.
- First Cut
- Wash pieces
- Braid long stripes
- Make it tight
It lasted almost 1 day and a half, which is not bad!
Finally, after much trial and error, I made something using tennis balls and the old Jeans that is super tough. I made a knot with the jean, inserted the tennis ball, and made another knot, so that the ball stays inside like a core, repeated the process 3 times, and Buster seems to be very happy with this one. And it's cheap to make!
