Need Dog Toys Meant To Be Destroyed? Save Money with these options!
Okay, so the other day I was thinking, my dog, Max, he just demolishes his toys. Like, gone in minutes. It's kinda funny, but also, I'm constantly buying new ones! So, I decided to get smart about it. I did some digging into these "dog toys meant to be destroyed" things.

My DIY Destroy-able Dog Toy Mission
First, I gathered some old, sturdy fabric scraps. Think old jeans, towels, that kind of thing. You want something tough, but that you don't mind getting ripped to shreds.
- Old denim jeans (cut into strips)
- A ratty old towel (also in strips)
- Some thick rope (because why not?)
Then, I started braiding. Seriously, just like braiding hair. I took three strips of denim and braided them together as tightly as I could. This makes it a little more challenging for Max to instantly destroy.
Next, I tied some knots. Big, fat knots at the ends of the braids, and a few in the middle. This adds another layer of fun (for Max) and frustration (also for Max, but in a good way, I hope!).
I mixed it up, too. I braided some denim with the towel strips, and even incorporated the rope into one of the braids. Variety is the spice of life, right? Even for dog toys.
Finally, I just let Max at 'em. And boy, did he go to town! He tugged, he chewed, he shook those things like crazy. It was awesome to watch, knowing that I hadn't spent a fortune on something that was destined for the trash anyway.
The best part? When they're totally wrecked, I can just toss them and make more! It's a win-win. Max gets to satisfy his destructive urges, and I get to save some money and be a little crafty. Gotta love a good, simple solution!
