Need Dog Licking Toys? Find the Perfect One for Your Dog!
Okay, so today I wanted to mess around with some dog licking toys. I've seen these things all over the internet, and my furry friend, Buster, has been a little… energetic lately. Figured it might be a good way to keep him busy.

The Hunt Begins
First things first, I needed to actually get my hands on one of these toys. So, I headed down to the local pet store. Man, there were tons of options.
- Some were flat, like mats.
- Others were shaped like little bowls.
- And some even had suction cups on the back!
I ended up grabbing a couple of different types, just to see what Buster would like best. I picked one flat mat with little nubs all over it, and a bowl-shaped one with ridges inside.
The Prep Work
Back home, I needed something tasty to put on these things. I decided to go with some plain yogurt (Buster loves yogurt!) and a bit of peanut butter. Make sure whatever you use is dog-safe, of course! You can search online for it.
I spread a thin layer of yogurt on the flat mat, making sure to really get it into all those little nooks and crannies. For the bowl, I smeared some peanut butter along the ridges. It was kind of messy, not gonna lie.
The Moment of Truth
Time to introduce Buster to his new toys! I placed both the mat and the bowl on the floor, and he immediately went sniffing.
He started with the yogurt mat, licking away with gusto. It was actually pretty funny to watch him try to get every last bit. Then, he moved on to the peanut butter bowl. That one seemed to keep him occupied for even longer, probably because it was a bit trickier to get the peanut butter out.
The Aftermath
Success! Buster spent a good 20 minutes licking at those toys, and he seemed way more relaxed afterward. Plus, it was pretty entertaining for me to watch. Cleanup was easy enough – just a quick rinse with some soap and water.
All in all, I'd say this little experiment was a win. I'll definitely be using these licking toys again, especially when I need to keep Buster busy while I'm working or doing stuff around the house. Might even try freezing them next time, to make the fun last even longer!
