Genteal Drops for Dogs: Are They Safe and Effective?
Okay, so my dog, Buster, he's a golden retriever, and he gets these really gunky eyes, especially in the mornings. It's like sleep crusties, but way worse. I used to just try and wipe them away with a damp cloth, but he hated it. Squirmed like crazy, the whole nine yards. It was a struggle.

Then, I saw someone online talking about Genteal drops, and I was like, "Hmm, worth a shot." So, I went and grabbed a bottle.
My Routine with Genteal
- First thing in the morning, before we even go outside, I get Buster to sit. Usually, a treat helps with this part.
- I hold his head gently, but firmly. He's gotten used to it, but at first, it was a two-person job!
- Then, I carefully squeeze a drop or two into each eye. The bottle says to do that, and it seems to work.
- Important to do this fast, Buster has no patience.
- I gently wipe away any excess that runs down his face.
- Big praises, lots of "good boy" and maybe another treat. Gotta make it a positive experience, you know?
Honestly, it's been a game-changer. His eyes are way clearer, and he's not pawing at them all the time like he used to. Before I started use Genteal,he would always rub his face on the carpet which make me mad.
The Genteal drops really helped soften up the gunk, making it way easier to clean. And Buster definitely appreciates not having me wrestle with his face every morning. It's become part of our routine, no big deal anymore. If your dog has similar issues, I'd say it's definitely worth trying!
