Dog Boarding Price Utah: Find Affordable and Reliable Kennels!

Alright, so, I gotta tell you about this whole dog boarding thing I went through in Price, Utah. It was a bit of a rollercoaster, to be honest. Needed to find a place for my good boy, Buster, while I was out of town for a work trip. Started off just poking around online, you know, seeing what was out there.

First thing I did was hit up the usual spots. Yelp had a few listings. Saw some names like The Yawning Dog Ranch, Ruff House, and Dinosaur Trails Kennel. Seemed like they had decent reviews, but it’s always hard to tell from just those, right? I mean, who really knows what’s going on behind the scenes?

Then, I stumbled upon this site called Rover. They have a bunch of individual dog sitters listed, which, you know, seemed a bit more personal. Like, maybe Buster would get more one-on-one attention. Found out there were like seven folks in Price offering boarding through them. Browsed through their profiles, read some reviews, but still wasn’t totally sold. Needed to see some places for myself.

Decided to make a few calls and visit some places in person. Called up Paws N Claws. Sounded promising, been around for a while, 48 years. When i spoke with them on the phone they said they could take care of buster but I still needed to check them out myself.

So, I drove around town, checking out these places. The Yawning Dog Ranch looked pretty spacious, lots of room for the dogs to run around. Ruff House was a bit smaller, but seemed clean and well-maintained. Dinosaur Trails, well, it was a bit out of the way, but they had this big outdoor area that looked like doggy heaven. And also checked out Bandit’s Stay Play, which was recommended on Yelp.

• Bandit’s Stay Play: Smaller, but also clean.

After visiting a few of these dog boarding kennels. I finally went to Paws N Claws. When I got there it seemed like an alright place, they had a few dogs there, all seemed happy. When I spoke with the owner I felt he was a good guy and I could trust him with Buster. And also, the prices here were better than the other places I checked out.

Decision Time

Ended up going with Paws N Claws. It just felt right, you know? And Buster seemed to like it when we went for a visit. Dropped him off a couple of days later, and honestly, I was a nervous wreck. But they sent me updates and pictures, which helped a lot.

Picked him up after my trip, and he was happy as a clam. So, yeah, it all worked out in the end. Finding a good dog boarding place is definitely a process, but totally worth it for peace of mind. Plus, Buster got a little vacation out of it, too!
