Dog Arthritis? See How Cats Claw Root Extract Might Help Them.
Okay, so I've been dealing with my dog, Buster, having some joint stiffness lately. He's getting up there in years, and I wanted to find something natural to help him out. I'd heard about cat's claw root extract and decided to give it a shot. Here's how it went down:

Doing My Homework
First, I hit up the internet – gotta do your research, right? I looked at a bunch of articles and forum posts about using cat's claw for dogs. I wanted to get a good sense of the dosage, any potential side effects, and, you know, just generally make sure I wasn't going to accidentally make things worse for my furry buddy.
I found some product in online store,it is really hot,so I bought it.
Starting Slow
Once I felt like I had a decent grasp on things, I started Buster on a really low dose. I'm talking really low – I open the capsule and put them into his food. I mixed it in with his regular food to make sure he'd actually eat it. Sneaky, I know, but hey, whatever works!
Watching Like a Hawk
- Day 1-3: No noticeable changes. Buster was his usual self, maybe a little less enthusiastic about his morning walk, but that could have just been the weather.
- Day 4-7: I thought I saw a slight improvement! He seemed to be getting up from his naps a bit easier. Still keeping a close eye on him, though.
- Week 2: Definitely seeing a difference! He's moving around more freely, and he even chased a squirrel in the yard (didn't catch it, of course, but the effort was there!).
Adjusting the Dose
After a couple of weeks on the low dose, and seeing some positive results, I decided to increase the dose a bit. This is after i ask my vet for it.I bumped it up, and then the same thing – I kept a super close watch on Buster for any weird reactions.
The Results
It's been about a month now, and I'm pretty happy with how things are going. Buster is definitely more mobile and seems to be in less pain. He's not a puppy again, obviously, but he's enjoying his walks more, and he's not as stiff when he gets up in the morning.I think cat's claw has it effect on him.
This is just my experience, of course. Every dog is different, so you gotta do what you think is best for your own pup. But for me and Buster, cat's claw root extract seems to be doing some good!
