Okay, so I saw this lobster toy for dogs thing all over the internet and figured, why not? My golden retriever, Max, destroys everything, so I'm always on the lookout for something new to keep him busy.

Cute Lobster Toy for Dogs: Great for Small & Big Dogs.

Getting Started

First, I searched around online to see what my options were. I found a bunch of different ones – some were plush, some were rubber, some even made noises. It was a little overwhelming, to be honest.

I ended up choosing a bright red, plush one that looked pretty tough. It also had a squeaker inside, which I knew Max would love (or hate, it's always a gamble).

The Unboxing

When it arrived, the packaging was pretty basic – just a plastic bag, really. No fancy instructions or anything. The toy itself looked exactly like the picture, so that was good. It felt pretty sturdy, with thick seams. I gave it a good squeeze, and the squeaker worked perfectly. So far, so good.

The Test

This is where things got interesting. I gave the lobster to Max, and he went absolutely nuts. He grabbed it, shook it, threw it around, and squeaked the heck out of it. He was in doggy heaven.

  • First 5 minutes: Pure joy. Max was running around like a maniac, showing off his new prize.
  • Next 30 minutes: Intense chewing and tug-of-war. He really tried to rip it apart, but the lobster held up surprisingly well.
  • After an hour: Max was finally starting to tire out. He curled up with the lobster and started licking it, which is his sign of affection.

The Aftermath

A few days in, and the lobster is still in one piece! There are a few teeth marks, and the squeaker is a little less enthusiastic, but overall, it's survived remarkably well. I'm actually pretty impressed. Max still loves it, and it keeps him entertained for a good chunk of time. It also look so adorable when I see my dog is playing with it.

I would say that the purchase of the lobster toy is successful. My dog loves it so much.
