Cute and Durable Japanese Dog Toys: Where to Buy Them Online
Alright, so, I wanted to find some cool toys for my dog, and I figured, why not check out what they have in Japan? They always have neat stuff, right? So I started poking around online.
First, I just hit up Google, you know, “Japanese dog toys.” I found a few sites. One was called Bestever Japan, seems like they’re based in Yokohama and make pet toys for dogs and cats.
Then there was Plaza Japan. They say they sell “authentic Japanese toys,” so I gave that a look. They had a bunch of stuff, not just for pets. Felt like I was going to fall into a rabbit hole, there was just so much to see. The colors, the shapes, it was all so different from the usual stuff you see in the pet store.
I dug some more and found a couple of other sites just selling general dog toys, but they had a Japanese selection. You know, just typing in “japan dog toy” and seeing what pops up. Lots of cute plushies and things shaped like food. I was really drawn to the ones that looked like sushi or little bento boxes. They were just adorable!
Then I stumbled on Hommi, an online store that sells Japanese pet supplies, and they ship worldwide, so that’s cool. I got lost in there for a bit, browsing all the different toys and treats they had. I saw a few things that I thought my dog would love, especially these toys that are supposed to be super durable.
Finally, I checked out a bunch of online stores that sell Japanese stuff in general, not just for pets, I found a bunch of blogs that wrote about it. There was one that looked like anime figurines and one that was a classic game, which are my type. I mean, if you’re gonna get your dog a toy, it might as well be something cool, right? These blogs mentioned “reliable shipping” so I guess that’s not an issue.

What I found
-
Lots of variety: From plushies to puzzles, there’s a ton of different types of toys.
-
Unique designs: A lot of the toys are shaped like Japanese food or have other fun, unique designs.
-
Focus on quality: Many of the toys seem to be made with durable materials and are meant to last, some are even perfect for puppies.
I ended up ordering a few things from a couple of different sites. My dog is going to go nuts! I can tell you, I’m really excited to see how she reacts to them. I’m expecting lots of tail wags and happy barks! I’ll for sure update y’all when the toys come in, maybe I’ll even make a video of her playing with them, if I can get her to sit still for long enough, hah! It’s always a fun adventure trying out new things for your furry friend. And hey, even if she ends up destroying them in five minutes, at least they were cute while they lasted, right?
