Buying Clavamox para perros: Cost and where to find it.( Quick Finder tips)
Okay, here's my experience with Clavamox for my dog, written in a casual, blog-style format:

So, my dog, Buster, he's a golden retriever, and he's usually full of beans. But a little while back, he got this nasty cough. It was that kind of wet, hacking cough that just sounds awful, you know? And he was all lethargic, not interested in his toys, barely touched his food. It was pretty clear something was up.
I took him to the vet, and after poking and prodding and listening to his chest, the vet said it looked like a bacterial infection in his lungs. She prescribed Clavamox, which I'd heard of before, but never actually used.
Getting the Dosage Right
The vet explained it's super important to get the dosage right. It is based on Buster's weight. Buster is a good 75 some pounds, so he was not on the small size of dog on the dosage.
Giving Buster the Medicine
- First try: I tried hiding the pill in a piece of cheese. Buster's usually a sucker for cheese, but this time, he just sniffed it, licked it a bit, and then walked away. Sneaky pup!
- Second try: I crushed the pill up and mixed it with some wet food. Nope. He ate around the medicated food. He really had me that time!
- Third try (success!): I finally got smart. I opened his mouth, placed the pill way back on his tongue, held his mouth shut, and gently rubbed his throat until I saw him swallow. It wasn't pretty, but it worked!
I did this twice a day, for a full 10 days, just like the vet instructed. Even when he started seeming better after a few days, I made sure to finish the entire course of antibiotics. My vet stressed that not finishing the antibiotics could mean the infection could come back, even stronger.
The Results
Honestly, within about 48 hours, I started to see a difference. The cough lessened, and he started to get his appetite back. By the end of the 10 days, he was pretty much back to his old self, chasing squirrels and begging for belly rubs. It turns that Clavamox is really good stuff. I observed Buster return to his playful self. I'm so glad I persisted and found a way to get him to take the medicine, and even more glad that he's feeling better!
If your dog is having problems like Buster, Clavamox can really turn things around if prescribed by your vet!
