Awesome American Bulldog Toys - Find the Best Ones Here!
Okay, so, I’ve got this American Bulldog, right? Big guy, loves to chew on everything. I mean everything. So, I figured I needed to get him some toys that could actually stand up to his chompers.
First thing I did was hop online and do some digging. Typed in “American Bulldog toys” and, man, did I get a bunch of results. Lots of “durable” and “tough” toys, but I’ve been burned before, you know? Stuff that’s supposed to be indestructible, and my dog makes it look like a chew toy within minutes.
I looked around for a while and read a bunch of stuff. Apparently, these dogs love playing, but they also love destroying, so I needed to find something that could handle both. Some sites were all about these special toys just for Bulldogs. Seemed promising.
Starting the Real Test
After a couple of days, I decided to just go for it. I picked out a few toys that looked like they could survive a nuclear blast. One was this thick rope thing, another was a hard rubber ball, and the last one was some kind of puzzle toy that was supposed to keep him busy.
- The Rope: This thing was heavy and looked pretty solid. I figured even if he did manage to tear it up, it would take him a while.
- The Rubber Ball: Super hard, the kind that’s supposed to bounce all over the place. My dog loves chasing stuff, so this seemed like a good fit.
- The Puzzle Toy: This one was a bit of a gamble. It had all these little compartments where you could hide treats. The idea was to keep him occupied trying to get the treats out.
And the Results
I gave him the rope first. He went nuts for it, shaking it around, chewing on it, the whole nine yards. It held up pretty well, surprisingly. After a few days, it was a little frayed, but still in one piece.
Next up was the ball. He loved chasing it, and it was definitely tough. No dents, no cracks, nothing. That was a win.
The puzzle toy was the most interesting. He spent hours trying to get those treats out. And the best part? He was so focused on the toy that he wasn’t chewing on my furniture or shoes. Double win.
All in all, I’d say it was a successful experiment. It’s tough finding toys for these dogs, but if you do your research and pick the right ones, it’s definitely possible. You just gotta be ready for a little trial and error. The key is to go for the heavy-duty stuff and don’t trust the labels that say “indestructible” too easily.
If you have an American Bulldog, or any big chewer, I definitely recommend giving these types of toys a try. It might save your furniture, and your sanity.
