Avoderm Dog Food Reviews: What Real Dog Owners are Saying?
Okay, here's my experience with Avoderm dog food, written in the style of a personal blog post:

So, my dog, Buster, he's a picky eater. A real picky eater. We've tried, like, a million different foods. Okay, maybe not a million, but a lot. Dry food, wet food, even some of those fancy raw food diets. He'd sniff it, maybe take a bite or two, and then just walk away. It was driving me nuts! I was starting to think he'd just live on air and stubbornness.
Then, a friend of mine, she's got a golden retriever named Goldie, suggested I try Avoderm. She swore by it. Said Goldie's coat was shinier, her energy was up, the whole nine yards. I figured, what did I have to lose? Another bag of dog food in the ever-growing pile of rejects?
I started with the Avoderm Natural Chicken Meal & Brown Rice Formula Adult Dry Dog Food. That seemed like a safe bet. Buster, you know, he’s a regular mutt mix, I wanted the one that looked suitable for my dog’s breed.
I did what I always do.
- I checked the ingredients.
- Looked for real meat as the first ingredient.
- Avoided anything with tons of fillers or artificial stuff.
Avoderm seemed pretty good on that front. Chicken meal was high up on the list, and it didn't have any corn, wheat, or soy, which I'd heard can be bad for some dogs.
The First Feeding
I poured a cup into Buster's bowl, held my breath, and... he actually ate it! Not just a nibble, either. He actually ate a decent amount. I was shocked. I almost did a little happy dance right there in the kitchen.
Over the next few weeks, I kept a close eye on him. Was he still eating it consistently? (Yes!) Was his poop normal? (Yep, thankfully!) Was he scratching less? (He actually was scratching less – his skin had been a little dry before.)
The Results
It is obvious that there are some positive changes.

- Buster's coat does seem a bit shinier.
- He's got more energy, too.
- We're going on longer walks, and he's not pooping out halfway through like he used to.
So, yeah, I'm pretty happy with Avoderm so far. It's not a miracle cure, but it's definitely made a difference for Buster. He likes it, he's eating well, and he seems healthier overall. That's a win in my book!
I'm thinking of trying the Salmon Meal & Potato Formula next, just to switch things up a bit. I'll let you know how that goes if I do! But for now, Avoderm gets two thumbs up (and four paws up from Buster) from me!
