• Attention-Seeking Stomp: Sometimes, if I was working on my computer or reading, Max would come over and just... stomp. Not super aggressively, but enough to make me look up. If I ignored him, maybe another stomp. It was like his way of poking me, saying "Hey! Pet me!" or "Aren't you forgetting something? Like me?"
• Excitement Overload Stomp: This happened when something REALLY good was about to happen. Coming home after being out for a while? Oh yeah, total wiggle-fest, sometimes running between my legs, mixed with happy little stomps. It was like they had so much happy energy they didn't know what else to do with their feet.
• "Gimme That!" Stomp: Treats or dinner time could definitely bring out the stomps. Impatient little taps on the floor while I was getting his bowl ready.
