Freezeball Dog Toy for Hot Days? (Pros & Cons for Your Furry Friend)
Okay, so I saw this "freezeball dog toy" thing trending and thought, "Why not?" My dog, Buster, is a chewing machine, and I'm always on the lookout for something to keep him busy.

The Experiment Begins
First, I grabbed an old tennis ball and a plastic container that was just a bit bigger. You know, the kind you get deli meat in? Perfect size. I rinsed out the container, because, you know, hygiene.
Setting Up
- I placed the tennis ball inside the container.
- Then, I filled the container with water, making sure the ball was completely covered.
- Next, I popped the whole thing into the freezer. The waiting game began!
The Waiting... (and Waiting...)
This part was the hardest. I think I checked the freezer like every hour. It felt like forever! Buster kept giving me those puppy-dog eyes, like, "Where's my new toy, human?"
The Big Reveal!
Finally, after what felt like an eternity (probably about 6 hours), the water was completely frozen solid. I took the container out of the freezer and ran some warm water over the outside to loosen the ice block. It slipped right out, revealing a giant ice cube with a tennis ball smack-dab in the middle!
Buster's Verdict
I gave it to Buster, and let me tell you, he went absolutely nuts! He pawed at it, licked it, and tried to chomp down on the ice. It was hilarious to watch. The best part? It kept him entertained for a good, long while. As the ice melted, he got more and more excited about getting to the tennis ball inside.
My Thoughts
This "freezeball" thing is actually pretty cool, I will do it again.
It's super easy to make, cheap, and a great way to keep your dog entertained, especially on a hot day. Plus, it's kind of fun to see them try to figure out how to get to the ball. Just make sure you supervise your dog while they're playing with it, you know, just in case.
