Why Does My Dog Sneeze All the Time? (porque mi perro estornuda mucho-Find Out)
Okay, so the other day, I noticed my dog, Max, was sneezing like crazy. It wasn't just one or two sneezes; it was like, achoo, achoo, achoo, over and over again. I got a bit worried because, you know, you don't want your furry friend to be uncomfortable.

Figuring Out the Sneezing
First thing I did? I watched him. I mean, really watched him. Was he rubbing his nose? Was he pawing at his face? Was there anything coming out of his nose? Luckily, no goopy stuff, no blood, nothing like that. Just regular, clear sneezes.
Then, I tried to think, "What's changed?" New cleaning products? Nope. Different food? Nope. We had been out for a walk earlier, though, and it was pretty dusty, so that made me think...maybe it was just some dust or pollen?
The "Let's See" Approach
I decided to give it a little time. I figured if it was just a bit of dust, it would probably clear up on its own. I made sure he had plenty of fresh water and a comfy place to rest. I also kept a close eye on him, checking to make sure he wasn't showing any other signs of being sick – you know, like being super tired or not wanting to eat.
- Gave Max fresh water.
- Made sure he had a comfy spot.
- Watched him closely for other symptoms.
Still Sneezing...
The sneezing kept going, though not as bad. That evening, I thought, "Okay, maybe it's something stuck in his nose?" I am not going to lie. It's hard to look, they don't sit and wait. But I managed.
I gently checked, as well as I could, to see if I could see anything obvious up his nose. Didn't see anything, but, I'm no vet, so I couldn't be 100% sure.

Time to Call the Vet
Because I wanted to solve it, next morning, the sneezing was still there, though it seemed a little less frequent. I called the vet. Better safe than sorry, right? I explained everything, and they got me in for an appointment that afternoon.
The vet checked Max over, looked up his nose (with the proper tools, of course!), and listened to his lungs. Turns out, it was probably just some allergies, maybe to something in the air. Whew! The vet gave me some tips for managing allergies and told me what to watch out for.
It's always better to get professional help when you're not sure what is happening to your dog. I was happy when he stopped sneezing that night.
