Okay, so I decided to brainstorm some dog names today, specifically names starting with "E". It's tougher than you think! First, I grabbed a notebook and pen – gotta go old school sometimes, you know?
The Brain Dump
I started by just writing down every "E" name that popped into my head, no matter how silly. I got:
- Echo
- Elsa
- Everest
- Einstein
- Elmo
- Egg...
Okay, "Egg" was a bad one. I admit it. My brain was clearly malfunctioning for a second there.
Getting Serious (Sort Of)
Then I tried to be a little more systematic. I thought about different categories, like:
- Nature-inspired names: Ember, Eclipse
- Strong-sounding names: Emperor, Empress
- Cute names: Elf, Evie
Narrowing It Down
After filling a couple of pages, I started crossing off names I didn't like. Some were too common, some were too weird, and some just didn't feel right. "Egg" was definitely the first to go.
The Finalists
I ended up with a shortlist of names I actually liked:
- Echo
- Elsa
- Everest
- Ember
- Evie
Not bad, right? I think I like all the listed names. Guess I was too tired, when I was brainstorming. So that's it. A totally normal, slightly chaotic, but ultimately successful dog-naming brainstorm session. Done!
