Primal Instinct Dog Food Reviews: What Are Owners Saying?
Okay, so I've been messing around with my dog's diet lately, trying to find something that really clicks with him. You know, good energy, solid poops, shiny coat – the whole nine yards. I stumbled upon this "primal instinct dog food" thing and figured, why not give it a shot?
The Switch Begins
First thing I did was grab a bag of the Primal Instinct kibble. I went with the chicken formula because my dog, Buster, seems to do well with chicken. I started by mixing a little bit of the new food with his old food. Just a tiny bit, like a quarter of his bowl. I didn't want to shock his system or anything.
- Day 1-3: 25% Primal Instinct, 75% old food. Buster sniffed it a bit, but ate it all up no problem. Poops were normal, so that was a good sign.
- Day 4-6: Upped it to 50/50. Still good! He seemed to be enjoying it, even licking the bowl clean.
- Day7-9: Now at 75% new Food.
Full Primal Mode
By day ten before, Buster was completely on Primal * my observations is his energy levels are super!
Honestly, I'm pretty happy with how it's going. It's a bit more pricey than his old food, but seeing him thrive makes it worth it, at least for now. I'll probably keep him on this for a while and see how he does long-term.
