Cool Dogs with p names(The best options here for you.)
Okay, so the other day I was trying to come up with a name for my new puppy. I really wanted a "P" name, for some reason, I don't know, it just felt right. So, I started this whole process, and let me tell you, it was a journey!

First, I grabbed my phone and started just Googling "dog names that start with P." You know, the basic, lazy approach. I got a bunch of those generic lists, you've seen them, "Popular Dog Names," "Unique Dog Names."
- Pepper
- Prince
- Penny
- Peanut
They were okay, but nothing really jumped out. Too common, you know? I scrolled through a few, made some mental notes, but felt pretty uninspired.
Then, I switched to brainstorming on my own. I started thinking about things I like, trying to connect them to a "P" name. Like, I love pizza… "Pizza" for a dog? No, that's just dumb. "Pepperoni"? Still weird.
I even started looking around the room for inspiration. "Pillow"? Nope. "Plant"? Definitely not. This was harder than I thought!
After that, I asked some friends for ideas. One suggested "Pabst," like the beer. Another one said "Pretzel." Those were interesting, but still not quite it.
Digging Deeper
I decided to get more specific with my searches. I started looking at "P" names based on the breed. My pup's a Golden Retriever, so I searched "Golden Retriever names starting with P." That gave me some slightly better results, things a little more fitting for the breed's personality, like "Parker" or "Porter."
I also thought about the puppy's personality. He's super playful and a little clumsy. So, I considered names like "Pogo" or "Puck." I mean, "Puck" is kinda cute, right, because he do the hockey-puck with my shoes.
Finally, after all this searching and thinking, I landed on a name I think that’s my final choice: "Patches". Because of his fur, you know, and it's a little bit classic, a little bit playful, and it just feels right.

I tired to call him with this name, and he looked at me!
