Okay, so I've been meaning to upgrade my dog's toy collection for a while. He's a heavy chewer, and those plush toys just don't last more than a day. I kept seeing these "G and W" dog toys pop up, so I figured I'd give them a shot.

The Shopping Trip

First things first, I hit up my local pet store. I walked around the toy aisle, you know, scanning all the options. They had a ton of stuff, but I was specifically looking for G and W.

I finally found a small display. They had a few different kinds – a rope toy, a rubber bone, and some spiky ball thing. I grabbed the rope toy and the bone, figuring I'd see which one he liked better.

The Test

As soon as I got home, my dog, Buster, was all over me, tail wagging like crazy. I tossed him the rope toy first. He went nuts! He loves tug-of-war, and this thing seemed pretty sturdy. We played for a good 10 minutes, and the rope didn't even fray. I thought, "Alright, G and W, you're off to a good start!"

Next up, the rubber bone. I gave it to Buster, and he immediately started gnawing on it. He's usually able to tear through these things in, like, an hour, but this one held up. He chewed and chewed, and it barely had a scratch.

My Thoughts

  • Durability: These things are seriously tough. Buster's a power chewer, and they've survived his best efforts.
  • Variety: They have a good range of toys, so you can probably find something your dog will like.
  • Price: They were a little more expensive than some of the other toys, but honestly, it's worth it if they're going to last.

So yeah, G and W dog toys? Definitely recommend. I'm pretty sure Buster's a fan, too. Now, if you have a dog who shreds his toys, this could be what you are looking for.
